Cooking Steps
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the sliced flank steak to the hot skillet, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the steak. Allow it to sear for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked to your preferred doneness.
  3. In a separate pot over low heat, gently warm your queso cheese sauce, stirring frequently for about 3-5 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked white rice, drained black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes. Fold the ingredients together for about 2-3 minutes until well mixed.
  5. Divide the rice mixture evenly among serving bowls, creating a layer for the base. Top each bowl with steak slices and drizzle warm queso cheese sauce over the steak.
  6. Add diced avocado on top and sprinkle with freshly chopped cilantro. Place lime wedges on the side of each bowl.
