Marinate and Cook the Chicken
- In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken evenly with this spice rub and let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Let it rest before slicing.
Prepare the Broth and Sauce
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, simmer for 3-4 minutes, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, heat sesame oil, add minced garlic, then pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce. Simmer for around 5 minutes.
Cook Noodles and Assemble
- Cook ramen noodles in boiling water according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Divide noodles into bowls, ladle hot broth over them, top with sliced chicken, drizzle creamy sauce, and garnish with green onions and chili oil.
