  • 1 pack French Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper adjust to taste
Pastry
  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry store-bought
  • 1 large Egg for egg wash
  • 2 tablespoons Milk for egg wash
Optional Extras
  • 1 cup Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella) for extra richness
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Herbs (Thyme, Rosemary, Parsley) for added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes for heat

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pork mince, French onion soup mix, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets, cut in half lengthwise, and spoon the filling along one edge. Roll and seal the edges.
  4. Beat together egg and milk, then brush this mixture over the tops of each assembled roll.
  5. Bake the rolls on the prepared tray for 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  6. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm.
