- Begin by peeling 2 to 3 very ripe bananas and mashing them in a large mixing bowl until smooth with a few lumps for texture.
- Add the flour, sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to the mashed bananas. Stir until a soft batter forms.
- Heat about 1 inch of oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it reaches approximately 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully scoop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
