Step-by-Step Instructions
- Peel three medium ripe bananas and slice them in half lengthwise, then cut each half into two equal pieces, resulting in eight banana slices. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the banana slices in a single layer.
- Spread a generous amount of natural peanut butter over the top of each banana slice, ensuring to cover the entire surface. Sprinkle chopped peanuts and a pinch of sea salt on top.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine ½ cup of dairy-free dark chocolate and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate generously over each banana slice, ensuring they are well-coated. Optionally create a decorative swirl.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the banana slices freeze for at least 1 hour until the chocolate is firm.
- After they have frozen solid, transfer them to an airtight container for storage. They can be kept in the freezer for up to two months.
