Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Pineapple BBQ Pork Skewers
  1. Begin by cutting the pork tenderloin and fresh pineapple into 1-inch cubes. Chop the red onion and green bell pepper into 1-inch pieces as well.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together your favorite BBQ sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the pork, pineapple, onion, and bell pepper to the large mixing bowl. Pour the marinade over all the ingredients and toss until evenly coated.
  4. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated pork, pineapple, onion, and bell pepper onto the skewers.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium heat, about 350°F. Place the skewers on the grill and cook them for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. In the last few minutes of grilling, brush the skewers with additional BBQ sauce for a stickier glaze. Cook for another 2-3 minutes after applying the glaze.
  7. Once grilled, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
