Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it’s melted and bubbling.
  2. Season both sides of the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper. Place the salmon fillets skin-side up in the pan. Cook for about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Gently flip the salmon fillets and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  4. Carefully remove the salmon from the skillet and tent with aluminum foil to keep warm.
  5. Lower the heat and add the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and cornstarch to the skillet. Whisk together and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, gently turning to coat thoroughly with the glaze.
  7. Transfer the glazed salmon onto serving plates and garnish with fresh orange slices.
