Garlic Butter
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter melted
  • 4 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt adjust to taste
Sandwich Filling
  • 2 cups Pulled Pork or leftover roast pork
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Ham or turkey/chicken
  • 1/2 cup Dill Pickles or pickled onions
  • 1 cup Swiss Cheese or provolone/mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons Yellow Mustard aioli optional
Rolls
  • 4 rolls Submarine Rolls soft inside, crispy outside

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to low broil and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the submarine rolls lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt. Whisk until blended.
  4. Generously brush the garlic butter over the cut sides of the rolls.
  5. Toast the rolls under the broiler for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Chop together pulled pork, sliced ham, dill pickles, and Swiss cheese, then stir in yellow mustard.
  7. Scoop about one cup of filling mixture into each roll and gently press to hold together.
  8. Serve the sandwiches immediately while hot and melty.
