  4. Place an onion slice directly on top of each cheese circle.
  5. Sprinkle another tablespoon of shredded parmesan cheese on top of each onion slice and gently press down.
  6. Generously season each onion ring with salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
  7. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, watching for a golden color.
