- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and let the chicken thighs sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
- Combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, kosher salt, and black pepper in a bowl to create the seasoning blend.
- Drizzle chicken thighs with olive oil and coat thoroughly, then sprinkle about two-thirds of the seasoning blend over them.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Sprinkle remaining seasoning on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes until the skin is golden brown and internal temperature reaches 170°F (75°C).
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
