  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version
  • 1 cup White Wine Dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 whole Lemon Juice and zest
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Can substitute with olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Clean the mussels under cold running water, scrubbing off any dirt and beards. Discard any that don’t close when tapped.
  2. If using unpeeled shrimp, peel and devein them.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the white wine, allowing it to simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce.
  6. Add cleaned mussels to the skillet and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes, shaking occasionally.
  7. Introduce shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink.
  8. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, allow to simmer until thickened.
  10. Serve over crusty bread, pasta, or rice, garnished with additional parsley.
