Ingredients

For the Filling
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef Can substitute with ground turkey.
  • 1 medium Chopped White Onion Yellow onion works too.
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic Use freshly minced for best results.
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers (Red, Green & Yellow) Mix as per preference.
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Butter Olive oil can be used as a substitute.
  • 4 oz Light Cream Cheese Regular cream cheese can be used for richer flavor.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Feel free to substitute with your favorite melting cheese.
  • 4 slices Light Cheese Slices Any quality melting slices work well.
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes Adjust to your heat preference.
For Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Optional garnish.

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add macaroni, and cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve 125ml of pasta water, then drain macaroni.
  2. Sauté Vegetables: In a skillet, melt butter, add garlic, onion, and bell peppers. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add Beef: Add ground beef, cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
  4. Make it Creamy: Lower heat, add cream cheese, mozzarella, and cheese slices. Stir until cheeses melt into a sauce (3-4 minutes).
  5. Combine: Fold in macaroni and reserved pasta water. Stir until pasta is coated, adding more water if needed.
