  • ¼ cup Sour Cream Replace with dairy-free alternative if desired
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Adjust to desired sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy Seeds Essential for flavor
  • 1 units Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together ½ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup sour cream, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon poppy seeds, and the juice of one lemon until smooth and well combined.
  2. Wash 2 cups of fresh broccoli thoroughly under cold water. Trim the stems and chop the florets into bite-size pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, 1 cup of fresh blueberries, ½ cup of dried blueberries, ½ cup of roughly chopped cashews, and 2 chopped green onions.
  4. Drizzle the prepared lemon poppyseed dressing over the salad ingredients and toss gently.
  5. Refrigerate the salad for at least 15 minutes before serving.
